This hat starts out like many hats, with a cuff. Then stitches are worked around the cuff to form the body of the hat. The only difference between this hat and one that is not a messy bun hat is that we stop the shaping on the crown early. Finished design for messy bun hat measures approximately 20-22″ head circumference. Finished design for chunky scarf measures approximately 6″x 90″. Basic skill level.
